“Insights about Homeopathy with Polygonales”
with Jan Scholten
7 Nov, 2020 (day 2)

What are Polygonales characteristics?

Scholten defines some of the main themes on his Qjure (homeopathy wiki) website, as well as in his most recent book, Wonderful Plants. Polygonales, an Order of old taxonomies, is associated with Carophyllales. In the APGII classification, Polygonales also included Droseraceae and related carnivorous Families. Some Polygonales characteristics include:

  • Feel used; have given too much with little return
  • Feel “tolerated” rather than loved
  • Feel that everyone is equal and should be treated as such
  • Belief system (religion, philosophy) helps to transcend hardships

Michal Yakir is a featured speaker on the opening day of our conference, Synergy of Approaches. Her approach to plants provides a logical order to the species, families and orders in the homeopathic plant kingdom, thereby explaining the themes, characteristics, and sensations in plant groups. Her Repertory is an invaluable tool used by homeopaths worldwide.

Add a description“Ancient Plants and the Big Picture”
with Michal Yakir
6 Nov, 2020 (day 1)

In this lecture, Dr. Yakir will present her view on the ancient plants and their place in the big picture of the land plants. It is a journey in which the flowering plants, so frequently used in our homeopathic pharmacy, represent only the last chapter in the big picture of Earth’s evolution. In comparison, the ancient plants (for example, Thuja and Lycopodium), though not as numerous among available remedies, represent all of Earth’s journey: Gaia evolution toward awareness.

Yakir will briefly outline the basis for this undersanding, in which man is the last stage in Earth’s evolution. Being the last, all of Earth’s stages are encompassed in man and contain all the problems and pathologies acquired in those previous stages—as payment for the budding awareness. The ancient plants survived many extinction periods on Earth, and therefore will be indicated in many of the diseases seen today—age-related diseases, cancer, autism, and trauma. They also tell us something about our relationship to Earth, and about the bigger picture needed for holistic healing.

Annette Sneevliet is a featured speaker on the opening day of our conference, Synergy of Approaches. She graduated as a medical doctor in 1986 and studied homeopathy with many great teachers. She has a successful homeopathic practice and teaches at the School for Homeopathy in the Netherlands. Her conference topic will be about the invertebrates. Read more below!

“Invertebrates: frequently overlooked animals”
with Annette Sneevliet
6 Nov, 2020 (day 1)

The concept of evolution in relation to homeopathic remedies was first introduced by Jan Scholten with his periodic table teachings. Annette Sneevliet has been using those teachings, as well as Sankaran’s Sensation Method and Yakir’s Table of Plants successfully for many years. She has also worked closely with Mahesh Gandhi as he developed his Evolutionary Table of the animal remedies.

Sneevliet likes to teach by using examples from her practice, and she will present three cases of invertebrates and show how the blending of Mangialavori’s Materia medica, Sensation Method and Evolutionary principles helped her find the needed remedy in each case. The Invertebrates are often missed in homeopathic practice. We do not “hear the enemy” as clearly in invertebrate cases as we do in vertebrate animals, and they are often mistaken for plant or mineral cases. Sneevliet will show how to find them and how to differentiate them from vertebrates. Her method will show you how to recognize the Sponges, Mollusks, Crustaceans, Insects and Spiders with clarity and precision.

Resie Moonen is a featured speaker on day three of our conference, Synergy of Approaches. She is a Homeopathic Medical Doctor and General Practitioner with over 35 years of experience. Moonen has written many articles on homeopathic topics, teaches at Maastricht University in Holland, and is a sought-after speaker at seminars. At this conference, she will talk about a specific remedy and its impact on the Covid-19 virus. Read more about it below!

“One Remedy has made a Difference”
with Resie Moonen
8 Nov, 2020 (day 3)

In this lecture, Moonen will show three lung pathology cases that responded well to a particular remedy. The cases each include 6-8 years of follow-ups. She will describe this particular remedy thoroughly, and explain how it has also helped many of her Covid-19 and post Covid-19 fatigue cases.

The remedy is not well known, but easily recognizable once its totality is understood. Moonen will give details about how it is a particularly good fit when life is disrupted by upheaval related to too much travel or having to move to a new place.

Register to hear Resie Moonen teach about a very helpful remedy!

Janet Snowdon is a featured speaker on day three of our conference, Synergy of Approaches. She has been in practice for over 35 years, and is also involved in proving new remedies. She is a senior lecturer at The School of Homeopathy in the UK, and is an inspiration to her students in her readiness to be amazed and delighted by the mysteries of healing.

“Sarcodes: Themes and Sensations”
with Janet Snowdon
8 Nov, 2020 (day 3)

In her lecture, Snowdon will dive into the topic of Sarcodes, focusing particularly on progesterone and testosterone. There is a “strong and unusual thread running throughout the Sarcodes.” It shows a distinctive difference from other groups of remedies, and the language of patients requiring Sarcodes can at first appear too ordinary to be of much significance; such language takes center stage when Sarcodes are under consideration.
Now that Snowdon understands the language of Sarcodes, she wonders how she managed without it. She will present cases to illustrate the themes and sensations of these vital remedies. Her knowledge of Sarcodes is based on the work of Geoff Thompson’s meditative provings, in which Snowdon participated.

Massimo Mangialavori is our featured speaker on Day 4 of Synergy of Approaches. His Method of Complexity in homeopathic medicine is an original approach developed collaboratively with a number of collegues over a 20-year period. This method, though rigorous, is relatively easy to use. The point is to grasp essential features and dimensions (of, for instance, a remedy), so that those qualities can be easily compared to others of a similar nature. “The homeopathic family of oils: my clinical experience with long term follow up cases”
with Massimo Mangialavori
9 Nov, 2020 (day 4)

In his lecture, Mangialavori will bring homeopathic oils back to life. Though not unknown, many have been forgotten (Oleum animale, Oleum jecoris aselli, Lecithinum, Cholesterinum). Others need more in depth investigation (Indolum, Ichthyolum, Pix liquida).
Mangialavori is studying these substances through his long term chronic cases, and will be sharing much information about them. He will show how they can be very helpful in severely “withdrawn” cases, including cases on the autistic spectrum.

Rajan Sankaran is our featured speaker on Day 5 of Synergy of Approaches. Sankaran is an internationally renowned thinker, teacher and writer of the homeopathic system of medicine. His understanding of ‘disease as a delusion’ followed by his discovery of newer miasms, classification of diseased states into kingdoms (i.e. plant, mineral and animal), and the seven levels of experience, have all brought increased clarity to the understanding of disease states.

“Plant subclasses and superclasses”
with Rajan Sankaran
10 Nov, 2020 (day 5)

In his lecture, dr. Sankaran will shed light on the subclasses in plants and expand the topic into the superclasses across kingdoms. These concepts greatly assist him in identifying the exact direction needed to look for a remedy, thus simplifying the remedy selection. This unique process of selection is so useful that he has stated, “I wonder how I have worked so far without using this idea.” Dr. Sankaran will illustrate how to navigate through his method by sharing cases.
